1. How to delete your account

1. Sign in at keyshift.ai/login with the account you want to delete.
2. Open Settings.
3. Scroll to Delete account, tap it, and confirm.

Your account is removed right away and you are signed out on every device. If you cannot sign in (for example, you no longer have access to the email address), write to hello@keyshift.ai from any address and we will verify ownership and delete the account for you within 7 days.

2. What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your login, email address and profile.
• Your credit balance and plan record.
• Custom actions, workflows and keyboard shortcuts.
• Your usage history (the dashboard log of past requests).
• Device and desktop sign-in tokens.
• Feedback and survey responses linked to your account.

Data on your own devices (clipboard history, learned words, keyboard settings) is not on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes it.

3. What is kept, and for how long

• Invoices and payment records are kept by our payment providers (Paddle, AppSumo) for as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically up to 10 years. They contain your billing details, not your text.
• Anonymized service logs (request counts, error traces) may be kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging. They are not linked to your deleted account.
• Backups of our database roll over within 30 days, after which no copy of your account remains.

4. Deleting data without closing the account

If you want to keep your account but clear your usage history, email hello@keyshift.ai from the address on the account. We clear it within 7 days and confirm by email. Lifetime and AppSumo licences stay attached to the account, so this is the safer option if you may want to come back.
