Press space twice to run
The typed trigger is the fastest way to use Keyshift when you are already writing. It works in any text field.
Typed trigger
keyshift+instruction+space twice- 1
Write the text you want to change (email draft, chat message, document paragraph).

Type keyshift followed by what you want, for example: keyshift fix this email

Press space twice to confirm (default). Keyshift captures your text, runs AI, and replaces it in place.

Auto-run on pause
On the Home tab in the app, turn on Auto-run on pause to skip double-space and run after you stop typing for a moment. Safer default is space twice — it avoids firing while you are still thinking.
Custom trigger word
Settings → Trigger word lets you change keyshift to another word (e.g. /ai or fixme).
Utility triggers like /calc 15*7= still use their own delimiters. Natural-language keyshift triggers respect your confirm setting.
