macOS: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → turn on KeyShift AI. Quit and reopen KeyShift after toggling.

For the typed trigger: Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring → turn on KeyShift AI.

For text from screen: Privacy & Security → Screen Recording → turn on KeyShift AI.

KeyShift → Settings → System opens the right pane for you and shows what is still missing.
Still blocked?
Remove KeyShift from the permission list, reopen the app, and allow again when prompted. On Sonoma and Sequoia a full quit (⌘Q) after granting is often required.
Windows: antivirus flagged the installer
KeyShift is code-signed, but some antivirus tools flag new apps that watch the keyboard. Add KeyShift to the allow list, or write to support@keyshift.ai and we will sort it out with you.
